Bringing climate outreach into #TeamAlgae stand at #EdinburghScienceFestival: carbon cycle moly-mod game ('be an algae and fix some solar energy+CO2, or be a human and release them again!')... then for some, a chat about the greenhouse effect, and for some we moved further on to climate action and the #NEB (Scotland has vote for 16yr olds:)

The NEB Facility puts people and places first, it supports projects that:
* Revitalise public spaces and neighbourhoods
* Promote circular and regenerative building solutions

Next year’s NEB calls for proposals will open in May 2027 and close on the 15th of September

The Facility is structured around two components:

Oh boy, now I've encountered new timetable weirdness on the Ostbahn. The Polish timetables, including online on Portal Pasażera, say all the Kostrzyn trains have been extended to Ostkreuz. So do DB's station posters you can download from bahnhof.de. However, German-side live running data, VBB and MERITS all say things are as they were - Kostrzyn trains running to/from Lichtenberg, workday Verstärker running Ostkreuz-Müncheberg (Mark). (And also apprently NEB is having problems today and running all the Kostrzyn trains with single units rather than the usual doubles)
And there I was initially pleasantly surprised…

I’m waiting outside my village city hall (based in Northern France) to help them submit a candidature for the #NEB boost for small municipalities from the EU.
As local community, we’d love to build an intergenerational and interdisciplinary space where people can meet, connect, create, and enjoy time together.
My sister in law told me about the grant, and I volounteered to help the major with the English application. Fingers crosses 🤞
