Knit

Encrypted mesh chat over Wi-Fi Aware & Bluetooth — no internet, no servers.
A Meshtastic radio for reaching far past Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and files of any kind.

Knit now talks to a Meshtastic LoRa radio over Bluetooth.

Set the board up once and the Nearby room and your direct messages travel over it as well, so a contact kilometres away is in range.
Your radio's own channel becomes a second room in Knit, which you can read, post to, or switch off.
A contact's post there shows a shield when their radio signed it.

#GasPrices were $4.29, some higher at $4.57 but it was clear $4.19 was supposed to be cheap. This was true in northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. But over the years I got my favorite spots, where I bought at $4.02 & $3.99 (PA & NJ respectively).
Last #CampingTrip, I got gas for $3.69 if not less.
(When the nearest grocery [sorry, "supermarket"] is 25 minutes each way, you start thinking gas cost.)

In 1987 a star exploded in a nearby galaxy, and detectors deep underground caught the burst of neutrinos roughly three hours before any telescope on Earth saw the light arrive.
