No more unplanned bridge closures due to obsolescence in the future⁉️ As part of a joint project, #FraunhoferIZFP is working in the "ImaB-Edge" project to use distributed sensor electronics to make the #monitoring of #infrastructure structures efficient, predictive, autonomous and permanent. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research is supporting the project with 5.6 million euros.

Ungeplante Brückensperrungen ade⁉️ Als Teil eines Verbundvorhabens arbeitet das #FraunhoferIZFP im Projekt »ImaB-Edge« daran, mittels verteilter Sensorelektronik die Überwachung von Infrastrukturbauwerken effizient, vorausschauend, autark und permanent zu machen. Das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung unterstützt das Vorhaben mit 5,6 Millionen Euro.
