Concerns are growing over whether policymakers will replace a military right-to-repair provision with a ‘data-as-a-service’ model, which #NDIA says could “allow the DoD to contract for access to a contractor’s full technical data library on a ‘pay-per-use’ basis” to protect the contractors’ intellectual property.

The #NDIS is so badly run. So far I have enquired about my reason for being turned down in my first application, because it was so nonsensical. I got transferred to a supervisor because the helpdesk couldn't help. They thought it was so ridiculous they helped me write a complaint.
The #NDIA complaint team passed on the feedback and helped me complain about my Local Area Coordinator. I spoke to the Senior LAC at the provider and now they seem to be my LAC. -

This is putrid! I'm so disgusted I'm actually stuck as to what to say! I feel sick to my stomach & as a disabled person myself, feel incredibly worried about my future if people like this are trying to run our country! I couldn't even bring myself to watch the 2 minute video to the end. Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party must be taken down immediately. Absolutely shameful, ignorant & insensitive! I don't like it.

There is a new class action planned to stop the systemic #Robodebt style abuse and neglect of existing #NDIS participants by the #NDIA. The NDIA consistently violate their Model Litigation Obligations, dragging attempts to get life-saving, economy-boosting supports out for years. #Disabled people face expensive government lawyers at AAT, with little to no help.

So unimpressed. Apparently my personal data may have been breached in the #Medibank, #Optus and now #CTARS #databreach. Time to head back to Queensland Transport; this time to change driver's licence number. Will also approach #Medicare for a new card number. Passwords all change and multi-factor authentication enabled on all bank accounts where available. Also have enabled MFA on social media accounts including Mastadon. Discussions to be had with #NDIA also. Registered for a call back from IDCare.

It's great to see two extraordinary people with lived disability experience voice the issues surrounding the operation and the funding of the #NDIS and the #NDIA on #QandA. Jordon Steele-John is absolutely right that we need increase the taxes on resources and the very rich. We need to reduce the complexity of the operation of the scheme but find those suppliers who are gaming the system. Much more of the NDIA should be operated by people with disabilities.
