My toot got a lot more accurate when Georgia got like three more chances with one second left (but all those calls were actually correct)
I think Georgia should have tried a lot harder on that final play. Refs were handing out DPI like it was candy, and I timed downs are a thing.

OMG, Indiana's football coach Curt Cignetti smiled!! (briefly) after they defeated Ohio State in an epic defensive battle, 13-10.
Led by their quarterback Fernando Mendoza. The game was televised by Fox Sports, so obviously it never came up, but I think he just might be Latino.

According to Roger Sherman, under college football rules, “[i]t’s legal to change a player’s uniform number mid-season—all that matters is the roster submitted to the officials on gameday.” This ensures that the opposing team has the opportunity to review the changes. If the change was not noted before the game, “it would have had to be reported to the official and announced” when the player in question takes the field. There are additional rules, such as those governing changing a player’s number to the number of a player at a different position. Conversely, the NFL avoids any issues by prohibiting in-season number changes. [Source: Roger Sherman (12/30/24)] In an earlier article, Mr. Sherman explained that a college football player change jersey numbers in the middle of a game in order to be eligible to catch a forward pass (players must be wearing a number outside of the 50-79 range to be eligible to catch passes). Things I learned aside, I highly recommend reading the first source article. Mr. Sherman tells a very fun story about selling a fake punt with subterfuge in an otherwise sleepy bowl game between Bowling Green and Arkansas.

Watching the Sugar Bowl and ESPN has 4 different broadcasts (all in English, this doesn’t count any possible Spanish language broadcasts). My DVR was recording all 4.
SMH.
Really do we need 4 different ways to see the game? One of them is just a couple of bros explaining the game. Another had no broadcast team but rather just tapped into the field PA system. Another was multi screen overload.

Man. I haven't kept up with how college football works with... Some kind of portal? And players opting out? But it seems like there need to be some tweaks, the fourth-ranked team shouldn't be destroyed like this.
