Just checked all the #aviation acronym associations for news on what their take is on the threat by Big Orange to "decertify" some, all, none (???) of aircraft made in Canada.
Nothing from any of them yet. I really wanted to see what #NBAA was thinking, but nada.
I am sure it's because as per usual, this falls somewhere between delirious ramblings of a dementia patient and strong-man edicts from a power-crazed autocrat. It is offered without detail or clarity, as usual.

Everybody that is anybody in #aviation is on board with this:
Via #NBAA
"Today, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and nearly 60 aviation stakeholder groups issued a statement in support of legislative measures to ensure continued FAA operations in the event of a future government shutdown. Travelers, shippers and other users of the system pay nearly $24 billion in taxes and fees every year for aviation operations."

Looks like the FAA is following through on pushing GA traffic out of major airports.
Being reported all over:
"FAA Bans Most General Aviation Flights At 12 U.S. Airports"
Lots of exceptions to this, but only for medical, law enforcement, military etc.
These include:
ORD, DFW, DEN, BOS, IAH, ATL, JFK, EWR, PHX, LAX, DCA and SEA.

Via #NBAA:
Business aircraft owners rethinking their base locations.
"According to the National Centers for Environmental Information, the 1980s saw a total of 33 natural disaster events blamed for more than a billion dollars in damages, while in the 10 years leading up to 2023 that number rose to 173."
Yeah, sure, climate change is a liberal hoax. Until your Gulfstream gets hammered with hail or Goober's Double-wide ends up in the next county.

Both #NBAA and #GAMA come out hard against tariffs. https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/business-aviation/2025-02-04/bizav-groups-fear-profound-disruptions-tariffs?utm_campaign=AIN%20Alerts&utm_medium=email&_hsenc=p2ANqtz--pLRXwfdft2KaR1zbt2YufCjmcxhbZaYRVpS6yGX32y7-tR6NxasAjw_liQroCn1kaPzKOcYKxB3Im5C1sVpdfX6qbow&_hsmi=345706725&utm_content=345706725&utm_source=hs_email

Here’s some awesome General Aviation news, via AIN:
"NBAA Activates ‘HERO’ Response to Helene”
More: “[NBAA’s] HERO database allows people to enter information about the availability of airplanes, personnel, and other assets for relief missions. Information from the database is provided to government agencies and non-government organizations upon request.”

With @NBAA BACE convention coming next week Oct. 17-19, all the suppliers in the #Bizjet sector are announcing their new stuff pre-show, like this from Rosen Aviation:
"Rosen Unveils Curved OLED Digital Skylight for Bizjets - The Skylight's composite chassis can hold displays ranging from 42 to 77 inches”
AINOnline has the details:
This is a pretty cool development because external imagery from cameras can be displayed.
