  2. @jcurries I'm a bit hesitant about #Navillera #kdrama . After watching the French TV series #Opera I still feel a bit traumatised about the ballet world.

That's a good one too, but tough.

  3. @whoosh
From all of the shows I've watched so far, #Navillera was by far the best at identifying/addressing issues that occur later in life. I also thought that #HometownChaChaCha did well in this area.
There are definitely a lot of excellent actors who are ageing gracefully and could play leading characters. I'd certainly like to see more of that.

  4. #kdrama #endofyeardramachallenge #EYDC2023 Day 17: Best Actor of Year This is a really hard one because honestly, the male leads are SUCH a huge draw for me! I would say that #LeeMinHo is the prettiest to watch onscreen but he's been focussing on modelling instead of acting this year and his roles are very similar. In terms of range and dedication, my vote is for #SongKang who is killing it in #MyDemon and who I adored in #Nevertheless and #Navillera. Excited to see more of his work.
  5. @s1m0n4 Thanks for the recommendation, especially for #LanguageLearning #korean
I adored #Navillera, which had very little action or romance but was just a very lovely story about people of all ages pursuing their dreams.

Yes, I can highly recommend #kdramas for the plot and character development, the cinematography and costuming/sets, as well as the varied and unique storylines. I didn't watch any TV for 15 years. I watched 2 North American series last summer with COVID and then, I watched a drama in about April. Currently on my 8th or 9th, learning #Hangul and Korean every day.
#Navillera is a lovely one about a 70-year-old who learns ballet.

  7. @s1m0n4 @jillithd @Vinjii
We're watching #goblin in our #Kdrama #watchparty. I don't think I can access it in Canada otherwise. Just finished #Navillera if you want your heart ripped out. Good show for lots of tears.

  8. @SpeechTherapist

I loved that show! Yes, tissues are a must, but such beautiful messages.

  9. Anyone else interested in #KDramas? I just finished #CleanWithPassionForNow, which I watched after #HiByeMama. Loved them both. Ive also watched #Navillera, #ItsOKToNotBeOK #MysticPopUpBar, and too many other to name. I'd love recommendations! 😃
