They announced the first Natsume Yuujinchou game for Switch and Steam, and— Excuse me, limited first edition release comes with a NATORI BROMIDE (SIGNED)??? :btr_bocchi_panic: (Husband, flatly: I think I need to check my blood pressure) < he misunderstood this and thought the bromide is Ishida Akira-signed
Slightly unhelpful intro video featuring Nyanko-sensei https://youtu.be/-0tlT1w4_7M?si=0koB0msqRdjzszzY

OMG they chose Kenjirou Tsuda to voice yokai in episode 11. And not just voice them but basically narrate an entire episode. It's otherworldly... this voice just penetartes under your skin and flows in your veins.
And this is probably one of the best episodes in general. Wonderful, touching and absoultely heart-breaking story between the girls. This anime just keeps winning with all the choices creative team are making

Crunchyroll is taking orders for backorders of Natsume's Book of Friends. The actual release date is "yet to be determined".
Don't toy with me manga gods, because if I start buying the physical copies, I'll be wanting them ALL!

I got my husband to watch the new #NatsumeYuujinchou season with me and he seems to be liking it?? Guess we'll be rewatching the old seasons after this 🤭

What a great episode 4 of #natsumeyuujinchou
^.^

I need to decide what to download off of my #Plex server and watch for my 7 hr flight to Osaka tomorrow night. For now, I'm thinking maybe the 2nd #ShinyaShokudo movie as one option. Might even be tempted to download a couple of seasons of #NatsumeYuujinchou to rewatch.

#NatsumeYuujinchou Season 7 has started airing already!!! 😻

Why isn't this a #FediTip? 😱
Fully explains my overly serious 🕔 _______________
I'm in the second row!

It's #HunterXHunter's Gon's birthday today - which is the perfect opp to say that I love Gon so much. He's one of the few characters that genuinely make me happy by their kindness or warmth. Others include Natsume from #NatsumeYuujinchou, and perhaps surprisingly Carl Grimes from #WalkingDead (the TV series) haha.

#NatsumeYuujinchou Season 7 is coming this Fall 2024 AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! ❤️😻

I'm having a blast playing #YakuzaZero - the fucking range in the story of their (side) quests and things to do in the #game are... insane. One minute I'm teaching a small band that got unexpectedly popular among Yankis on how to be more appealing to Yankis for their fan interview session by telling the vocalist to start by saying HELLO and other random English words his fans wouldn't understand, another member to say that he rescues puppies during his pastime, and the drummer to stay silent throughout the panel. Next, I'm helping a kid to recover his prized purchase, a now sold out SEGA console stolen by a high schooler, who got it stolen by a salaryman, who got it stolen by a Yakuza - with a twist to later find out that said Yakuza stole it to give to his son, and the kid we're helping and got his console stolen IS the Yakuza's son lol. Then, I was in a quest to help a middle/high schooler who suspects his girlfriend is selling sexual services, and I'm supposed to find out if it's true, then later found out that she was instead selling her worn clothes to creepy men. I haven't even finished that last quest but we can be confident that it will end with yet another insane twist. While juggling through these quests, I dabbled in its insane number of "mini-games" found throughout the city including Karaoke (singing as the main char, #Kiryu, who's also #Misuzu from #NatsumeYuujinchou is a blessing to all ears), dance in a club, discovered a shady little store that sells porn DVDs, participate in Tamiya tourneys, play Shogi, hit up SEGA Arcade places, and too many more. All the while, also, eating at Konbinis, Ramen shops, bars, BBQ places, and Takoyaki stalls to recover health. This game is even more bizarre than #HideoKojima #games, seriously.

I've never really known #karaoke (with the right people maybe) would be something I enjoy (quite a lot) lol. I've only been twice, and never with friends cos they're (we're) not the type to randomly think of paying for some hours just to sing. The first time was w family and I didn't even sing cos I was too edgy I guess. The most recent was new year's eve just a couple of weeks ago - and that was with my partner and sibs.
After the #AOT finale I for some reason just NEEDED to sing #anime songs and I did just that while everyone else sang Indo/Malay/Eng songs lmao. We went to #Manekineko just bcos it was the only one available/open, and we sang from 11pm till 1am and surprisingly it totally wasn't enough 😩 Was able to sing some AOT songs tho not all I had wanted which was a bummer, some #Gintama songs, the #NatsumeYuujinchou OP, and the #HunterXHunter OP. They didn't have #ShinyaShokudo (#MidnightDiner)'s OP either which was also a bit of a bummer.
I really didn't need yet another hobby to commit to lol but here I am. I thought when I have my own place I only need to sacrifice a single (likely store) room as a dedicated room for my servers/#homelab equipments, now I prolly need a soundproofed karaoke room too if this urge to scream to my fav songs continue too frequently. -
Hi all, I've just migrated from @[email protected] to this account on sakurajima.social. I'll also be attempting to migrate my main account @[email protected] to this one in the coming days, but I'm expecting nothing on that front since it's failed so far (update: it seems to have migrated, but the migration of followers seems to not have taken place).
I've moved to multiple servers throughout my time on the #Fediverse in pursuit for a "permanent" instance to be on, and I've never had the chance to write an #intro post lol so this will be my first.
I'm a 26 year old (in Nov 2024) (gfdi) programmer obsessed with languages such as #Python and #Shell, frameworks like #Django, and #CloudNative shenanigans like #Docker, #Kubernetes, and #Helm. I'm also obsessed with #FOSS and #Linux, and promoting them to be more viable each day for the masses so everyone could have not just free but secure access to daily computing.
Entertainment wise, I'm into both English but mostly Japanese content - including #anime. I also often play western and Japanese #games on #Nintendo and #Steam. My primary #gaming devices are my #SteamDeck, my #ArchLinux/#EndeavourOS based #PC, and my old and dusty #NintendoSwitch. My fav animes include #Gintama (as per my pfp), #NatsumeYuujinchou, and #AttackOnTitan. My fav games include #NierAutomata, #StardewValley, and #EldenRing. My fav genres include anything that evokes strong emotions and grabs my full attention like #horror, #thriller, and #mystery.
I'll be using this account to mostly document my passions through mini reviews or rants, even make some friends along the way. I have another picture-based account over on #Pixelfed, @[email protected]. All images I have posted and will be posting will include descriptive/alt text, including my pfp and banner. I also have some bots for posting local (to me, #Malaysia) #news and other relevant data cos the #Mastodon API is just so fun to play with. -
My million dollar #game (unoriginal) idea: #CultoftheLamb but #NatsumeYuujinchou inspired/edition. Instead of the lamb, you have Natsume. Spirits' names written in your book of friends, are your cult members. Instead of sacrificing cult members, you release their names to gain special perks. I haven't bought/played COTL yet but a Natsume version sounds super freaking promising (to me) lol.
