I was worried that maybe the 2021 LegCo elections were a concrete sign of how One Country Two Systems was being dismantled before our very eyes, a quarter century ahead of schedule. I feel comforted to know that Emperor Xi says it's all good.

Life for the DAB has certainly been a lot easier ever since the opposition all resigned in disgust.

Apparently the IDF used small drones to deploy tear gas against West Bank residents.
Now I fully expect #hongkong to adopt this for June 4th.

Last year they blamed the pandemic so they could stop the annual June 4th candlelight vigil.
This year they have the #NatSecLawHK so they can just come out and say that commemorating the Party's atrocities is wrongthink.
But even the NSL doesn't reach that far, so the official unofficial reason (all this reasoning was leaked) is that some elements in anti-massacre circles question the single-party rule, and that is indeed illegal now.
