Already 22 months my little boy is born and then 22 months without coding anything :blobcatcry2:

He just start to sleep the entire night, so I just start too go to bed to later than 9.00pm :blobcatsleepless:
Maybe in September or October, I'll have enough energy to code again.

On another side, the few hours I have for me per week, as I can't think or focus more than 1h per "free time" session, I draw.
I'm currently drawing an animation with #krita, started in December

For a ~4min animation with an average of 15 frames per second, with multiples layers, I already drawn 22025 uniques frames (and there's a lot of clone frames too)
Krita made the computer suffers, even with the animation splitted in 5 big sequences (at peak work, before "cleanup" of useless draft layers, Krita was requiring ~15GB of memory for the biggest sequence file - it's currently "only" requiring 9.4GB of memory for the finalized file, and i don't even talk about CPU usage when all layers are visible with transfomation mask & layer style...)

I don't count all the crashes, bugs, and weird behaviors I had to compose with... (recent Krita 5.3.3 fixed 2 of them but 90% of work is already made...) if I still have energy at the end, I'll try to open bugs&requirements, but i'm not sure to redo a such animation before many months, I start to suffer too  :ablobcatknitsweats:

Final compositing will be made with #natron and #kdenlive
Also, some for some short sequences I used #friction that is really a pleasure to use  :blobcatheart:

@simonjust a small correction, I wish #Autograph the best (regardless of owner). It's more or less #Natron v3, made by the original author.

Yeah... Got an email from SourceForge, we need to remove 37GB+ of historical data (all releases) for Natron.

If you need any old releases download them now. This also includes SDK files, third-party source etc.

I will mirror the repo on my local machine before anything is deleted.

We do have releases on GitHub, but our SourceForge repo predates GitHub releases.

Very sad to see that the Autograph software creators sold their company to Maxon. Autograph was the premium compositing app for Linux, and was created by the original authors of Natron. Maxon is now killing the product. I mean, good for the devs and their payout, but not so good for the Linux community, since Maxon doesn't support Linux anyway in any of their products.

I played with it and liked it but havent had a reason to use it in a while so I havent really been watching it.
