My new second hand Kontact Media 6 Interface has 4 channels. My mics are on 1&2 and guitar/piano are on 3&4. It comes up on Reaper settings as either/or so I can't have both at the same time. Who thought that would be useful for me? There is S/PDIF but wtf is that? Wondering if it's just because it's connected to the old owner because it won't let me add the serial number anywhere and the control panel that comes with the driver doesn't work. Nachdem Native Instruments einmal mehr Insolvenz angemeldet haben, wurde das Unternehmen von inMusic übernommen. Nur wenige Wochen später wurden dann iZotope und schließlich auch Brainworx und Plugin Alliance verkauft.
Ein paar Wochen nach der Übernahme von Native Instruments durch inMusic wurde das ursprüngliche Portfolio des Unternehmens aufgelöst. In den vergangenen Jahren hatten Native Instruments die Marken iZotope, Brainworx und Plugin Alliance gekauft. Die Marken und Firmen blieben zwar erhalten, liefen aber unter dem Schirm des Berliner Software-Giganten. Ursprünglich sollten alle Marken einschließlich Native Instruments unter dem Kollektiv „Soundwide“ vereint werden, dieses Vorhaben schlug aber fehl. Die Insolvenz im Januar diesen Jahres kam nur teilweise überraschend, da in den vorausgegangenen Monaten kaum innovative Produkte mehr veröffentlicht wurde und sich Unmut und Kritik in der Community verbreiteten. Auch mir selbst ging es nicht anders: Kontakt 8 war und ist nach wie vor eine Enttäuschung, um ein Beispiel zu nennen.

Anyone using Kontakt 8 on a Mac with VoiceOver?
I'm trying to use VOCR to access the File menu so I can run Batch Re-save on my libraries, but I'm stuck. Nothing happens when I activate the File menu button. VOCR never sees the drop-down menu—it only detects my libraries and presets.
Has anyone figured out a way to access the File menu with VoiceOver, or found another accessible method for running Batch Re-save? I'm running Kontakt in standalone.

@keefmarshall For editing, grading, compositing, mastering I use #DaVinciResolve (before that it was Avid MC). 2D/3D animations and VFX are done in my beloved #Blender. GFX elements I do with #GIMP. The visuals of my next project will be done completely on Linux (Fedora/Cinnamon). The only thing I can´t do there is the music itself. #Reaper works great on Linux, but my #NativeInstruments / #Arturia plug-ins can´t be activated, even though they would work with #Yabridge.

Wow... Traktor has silently removed all older versions from their DJ App. (I played the last year only with a version 2.x)
All playlists are gone. I thought the app is on my computer but it lived inside their native access app. Uff..
Not sure if I can import them from older backups.
Sucks.
