In this comparison, the fluctuating currencies do not matter. It is about the ratio between salary of costs.
If currency fluctuation increases the price of the Danish Big Mac in US$, the hourly income in Denmark goes up by the same factor.
The ratio of salary vs costs stays the same.

For those in #Wales who are curious about the pay level of Junior Doctors at £13.65 per hour.
As a Hospital Porter I earn £11.63 per hour. From April the National Minimum Wage will be £11.44 per hour.
Junior Doctors are medically trained and generally very experienced.
At our hospital Porters do a huge variety of different tasks and jobs which require some experience, but clearly not at the level of Doctor
