  1. "The cruelty of life in America seems like it has reached a fever pitch. It's not easy to be a writer, programmer, or artist in 2026."

Meredith Gran, "The Life Games Require From Us"

  2. Absolutely gutted not to be at #NarraScope in #Albany this week. Hopefully next time. I so, so thoroughly enjoyed the last 2 years of attendance.

  4. I was up late for #NarraScope anyway, so I'm doing #Monsterdon once again. As always, mute the hashtag if you don't want to hear about the movie (Class of 1999)!

  5. Knocking together a very quick Twine project for a #NarraScope workshop tomorrow. Be sure to keep an eye out for the finished thing! #ScreenshotSaturday

  7. Finally getting around to sharing the video of the talk Francisco and I gave at this year's #narrascope —all about how we prototyped and "telotyped" parts of Rosewater with tabletop RPG scenarios and a fully playable Twine model. (It includes a link to try the model for yourself!)

Could be a fun watch if you're curious about new ways to test out parts of your narrative at any stage in development—or if you just want a peek behind the scenes of Rosewater!

  17. Safely back home after a wonderful #NarraScope, meetings, and an incredible #NBPy! Was lovely to be surrounded by friends and people interested in what we’re up to. But it’s amazing to be home!

  18. Honestly, thank you for running events that have a #COVID19 safety policy, which means I can worry slightly less about getting sick via doing one of my favourite things: attending events to shitpost on social media. #NBPy #Narrascope

  19. *All the Storyspaces*

One of the many cool things I learned at #narrascope (not even in a talk but rather in the kind of accidental side conversation at a bar that makes conference-going worthwhile) is Colin Post’s project to acquire and read *every one* of the dozens of hypertext novels published by Eastgate in the 80s and 90s—works that are totally inaccessible on modern operating systems.
