Em um determinado episódio de Monster uma das personagens importantes vai trabalhar num restaurante de um italiano amigão da vizinhança que chora com filmes, aprecia boa comida e boa companhia e sempre adoça o café com cinco colheres de açúcar.
Acontece que ele era um assassino na juventude e um dia, quando viu um dos seus alvos calmamente adoçando café com cinco colheres de açúcar, ele disse que pode sentir o sabor daquele café e desde então nunca mais matou.
Então ele passa a vida apreciando coisas que ele nunca apreciou quando jovem, porque ele só se importava em fazer o trabalho e ter uma boa vida com o dinheiro, entretanto, quando a personagem tá indo embora pra seguir o rastro do Johan, ele diz que "matar é fácil, é só esquecer o sabor doce do café."
Achei esse episódio muito bonito e ao mesmo tempo triste.

Hi everyone, time for an #introduction …and a story.
This is my new Mastodon account. I’m planning to use it as a more personal account / random texts and scribbly drawings - while my other account for posting my comics/cartoons/watercolours/illustrations is over on sakurajima.social(linked below as I moved over there from the main FF instance recently. I find FF a bit nicer to use than Mastodon, but want to have a mastodon account also and had a nice experience moving to the other sakurajima)
I’ve been drawing comics for over 20 years.
I’m old-ish(40s), Canadian, and have a very awesome young kid and wife. We have family in Japan, so have traveled there a LOT over the years, and I love it there. I’m still learning Japanese, and not nearly as good as I want to be with it.

Hi everyone, time for an #introduction …and a story.
This is my new Mastodon account. I’m planning to use it as a more personal account / random texts and scribbly drawings - while my other account for posting my comics/cartoons/watercolours/illustrations is over on sakurajima.social(linked below as I moved over there from the main FF instance recently. I find FF a bit nicer to use than Mastodon, but want to have a mastodon account also and had a nice experience moving to the other sakurajima)
