@oatmeal I‘ve been using some nonsensical, context related backgrounds I had ChatGPT generate in #teams meetings to set a mood.
I consider them an equivalent to maybe handcrafted whoopee cushions, not art.
But: Artists always found ways to create art using the most bizarre tools and materials, so I expect that art will be created using “#AI” image generators in a way. It’s unavoidable.

#MoonIsTheOldestTV is a great 2023 #documentary #film on the work and profound prescience and influence of "the father of #video #art", #NamJunePaik.

Available for free on #Kanopy in the #US with a valid #library card from participating systems, the #movie tells the story of his artistic journey from being dismissed and nearly quitting, to being globally recognized and admired.

I was privileged enough to see the #Smithsonian installation of #ElectronicSuperhighway when I lived in #DC.
