You aren't likely to see these areas, if you took a tourist package to San Juan. The landscape is amazing, rolling hills and mountains, the tropical rain forest, I had the luxury of several trips to the El Yunque National Forest, and rented a large Passenger van once, to give my shipmates a tour, where tour buses feared to tread. 😎
