i've been re-watching naruto shippuden and i'm on nagato's backstory. i really wish kishimoto never switched up on his anti war sentiments to conclude naruto as pro-state. i love the ame trio so much, the corruption via madara's influence was so unfortunate, all they wanted was an end to warfare.
