Yanis made an interesting comment on the fundamental distinction between communism and faschism: He says that faschism is a tribal ideology, that is, faschists, like socialists are very loyal and helping, but only towards other faschists, while socialists are on a mission to include everyone.

To expand his point: A faschist society may be good, but only towards people who behave and think in a certain way, while socialist society aims to be good towards everyone --- a more complex task, but definitely one that is worth undergoing.
