At #nacis2023, I found the first-ever map I've seen that appears to have referenced the examples in my Inventory of Martian Hypsometric Tints: https://somethingaboutmaps.wordpress.com/an-inventory-of-martian-hypsometric-tints/
The colors in Sid Ramavajjala's (award-winning!) piece draw upon the work of Ralph Aeschliman. So neat to see this resource making its way into someone's work!
