Between August-December 2020 the Dolan Fire burned 120,000 acres in the Big Sur area of California’s Central Coast. Here’s a visual ‘before and after’ of the summit of Nacimiento-Fergusson Road where it meets South Coast Ridge Road. Nacimiento Fergusson Road reopened November 14 after a 3+ year closure and reported $12M in repairs after the storm damage in 2021. We drove the road each way, it is in good shape and the extensive repairs are obvious.
