After trying it out for a couple of weeks, I can safely say that water, Nabulsi soap, and a little makeup brush like this gives me as good, if not better, of a shave than shave gel does.

Not only has the olive oil soap from Nablus in the West Bank been feeling and smelling nice, but it's also been lasting quite some time. Two months in and I'm only just now running out of my first block of soap 🙂

I got my Nabulsi olive oil soap from the West Bank and the results are in: I love it 😀 It has no added fragrances (one of the reasons it's good for sensitive skin) but it has a nice earthy smell. It applies on the skin butter smooth 🥰 And it's vegan (not a vegan myself but I'm in solidarity with them), only using olive oil, water, and lye. Here in the US I got it from a website named Palestinian Soap Cooperative.
