The NABJ interview with Trump provides a model for media coverage
Trump’s #NABJ appearance also afforded #Harris the opportunity later on Wednesday to 🔸rebuke his hateful rhetoric in a way that made him look like a sad has-been. 🔸
“It was the same old show. The #divisiveness and the #disrespect,”
she declared in a speech in Houston.“And let me just say: The American people deserve better. The American people deserve better.”
She continued, “The American people deserve a leader who tells the #truth,
a leader who does not respond with hostility and anger when confronted with the #facts.

I wish to repeat that #PizzaTheHut's detestable interview at the #NABJ was as much (if not more) about his #MISOGYNY as it was his racism.Remember his reaction to being asked about his misogynist comments by #MegynKelly (#BleedingOutOfHerWherever) and he walked out on #LesleyStahl during his #60Minutes interview.
He simply can't handle being criticized by a woman. (If he actually debates #Harris, he'll implode.)

I'd been wondering if equipment problems delayed Trump's interview with the NABJ. It seemed very likely that a major news organization would primary and backup equipment ready. It turns out that the delay was caused by Trump refusing to begin the interview because there would be real time fact checking. The NABJ President was called in to deal with the situation and as we all saw, Trump got his way. There was no fact-checking during the interview.
