Doesn't look like I posted this one up--an old sketch commission* (and by old, I mean from 2022, according to my records) (who even remembers that year) of one of my favorite Macross characters, Exsedol Folmo :blobheart: I have other drawings with him. oddly enough, I thought he would be hard to draw but each time I drew him, I got better! Hopefully one day I will do more for him.

*And a very rare commission time it was! I allowed fanart for the first time. (And maybe only time.)

I can't find my old toot but I mentioned once I think that I had enough drawings to collect for a (free) crossover zine--

I started to draw some that were "exclusive" to the zine but I haven't touched them in a very long time. Since 2021 or so. I still won't be able to for while, but I was looking them over again and...hey, this one def didn't look so bad! May have to fix the lines a bit. I also may have to see if I can remember what I did, when I continue the others lol.

This is part of a Justice League International x Symphogear set. Why those two? IDK mang, my head works in strange ways.

Point is, I've been poking at this for months and I swear to god, Canto 7's final date for premiere is what pushed me to finish this. The agenda...has become real...by my HAND!

1. Reuben/Alita: I had a different idea for them, where both were exchanging autographs or something--but that didn't really make sense for either one for different reasons. Then I remembered Alita played music once, Reuben's world is pretty retro with its music, and thus, a better idea was born.

The question is: is Reuben talking to Alita about himself or is he trying to get Alita to talk to Luther Ironheart, android helper of Plex Chicago? Maybe Clippy will know! :clippy:

2. Mitchell/Motoko: this is a pairing I've thought about for decades because once again (Matrix's Morpheus voice) ~machines~ The idea for this came immediate and easy to me--after all, you can talk to Motoko through cyberbrains if you have that. Mitchell can talk to machines at any level, in any way. He doesn't need that operation!

"Biggest fan" here then becomes more about what they are *listening* to, rather than about each other in contrast to the other pic.

Probably some Nirvana song that only Mitchell knows or something.

Finally, Urd and Lia will resolve to (checks papers) to solve the mystery of...something related to chemistry, I guess. I'm tired, so, uh, sorry I couldn't come up with something funnier for the dialogue. (Urd is an alchemist who deals with potions, Lia has created her own holo tech...)

Shoulda done the lettering and bubbles better but CSP and Photoshop were severely lagging at this point, and I have negative patience right now, oops.

September Twelve's "with the title "subdivisions"

...Yeah, I had no idea for this one either. Only thing I've heard subdivisions in is in a military context, so that's how I drew this one. Hans thinking he's being very helpful with his planning for S.O.N.G--except some don't think so, it seems! :annoyingdog:

I added Miku because I had the funny idea of Hans trusting Hibiki so much that he thinks she can take enemies all by herself. (I mean, she can, but you know, there's a limit?!)

I couldn't fit it into this idea--and to be fair, this would only happen after a few months in this scenario--but I came up with short nicknames for some of the girls that Hans would use :blobFingerGuns: He'd call them "valkyries" (which is slight in-joke haha) the way he'd call his men "my fledglings" (yes, you read that right), but Shirabe and Kirika would be "little bunny" and "little witch", for example.

Catching up near the end of the challenge? More like it's on brand for NAAN!

Here was September Eleven's prompt, "Stargazing."

This one was both hard and interesting--one, because it was a perfect pairing as both Angela and Mitchell are of similar, hmm, theme? (Angela is an android, Mitchell can *speak* to machines of any kind.) Two, because 9/11 is actually part of Mitchell's story LMAO (but I took that day off.)

The hard part was thinking of a situation for them to even meet together--I ended up with some allusions to Angela's role in Ruina and Mitchell (and his bodyguard Bradbury) not really trusting her presence or her. After all, she could be another German spy tactic, wouldn't she?!

(Yes, that actually happened to them lol. I love comics.)

But Angela just stares at the sky, pondering...while Mitchell wonders if her body is speaking to him or if he's gone crazy 🙊

Been a while since I've read Marvel, so my Jubilee is "stuck" when she's a vampire and appeared with the cutest little baby in the neighborhood. This one was hard, but a recent event made me realize where the two could meet. You can't tell me DQ doesn't give gifts to the little good vampire boys and girls. (And/or sons and daughters of vampires, I suppose.)

Moving things to an external HD and realized there's Limbus stuff I had yet to share! Here's one of them: a fandesign for my idea for Dulcinea in Don Quixote's (now upcoming) Canto. I have notes, including two neat "Six Degrees of Quixote" candidates

Ever since Don Q mentioned the Grass Maiden randomly in (I forgot what canto tbh), I've had a long-standing theory that it's Dulcinea, because it's the only Fixer she's randomly mentioned thus far without prompting.

-I based the design on three things:
-Folkloric clothes of the women of Toledo, Spain
-Gloves, boots and armor of the hidalgos
-famous Spanish singer, Rocío Dúrcal
-okay fourth thing that I forgot: grass.

With Dúrcal, especially, very cool thing about her: very famous singer and I originally only chose her face because I asked my mother on who's one of the most famous Spanish singers LMAO but also, she did a movie called Rocío de la Mancha. I will provide my rough translations of the two plot synopses below in a reply!

Most of my fandom experience is done "alone," as I always tended to do fandom alone while growing up. (I got on the internet late too.) But I'm active in some of the fandoms above through Discord at times. I'm mainly a lurker but I like seeing what people are into (or seeing if they know the thing :eyes: )
