I have been trying to run retro style Steam games with varing success on #Intel #N97 and #N100 mini PCs.

I have a #Windows install (on a nvme) in a SFF PC that I built with an #AMD with a Ryzen 5 5600G.

I have an open NVME slot on my main rig running #Fedora.

So here are my questions/thoughts:

1) Should I move my Windows NVME to my Fedora rig and dual boot?

2) With the SFF PC available, should I install something like #SteamOS or some other gaming distro?

Wiping Windows is not an option.

Please let me know y’all’s thoughts. Thank you.

Tech shenanigans update: After playing around with #SBCs to work as #retrogaming devices, I gave up and move some rarely utilized mini PCs around.

Moved the #M1MacMini to the living room TV and the #N97 mini PC to the bedroom.

Now I should be able to emulate retro games on all the TVs! With this change I can now do 3D emulation.

As for the SBCs, most have been placed in a box. Currently only tinkering with the #OrangePiRV2 and #OrangePiZero2W.

Tech shenanigans update: After playing around with #SBCs to work as #retrogaming devices, I gave up and move some rarely utilized mini PCs around.

Moved the #M1MacMini to the living room TV and the #N97 mini PC to the bedroom.

Now I should be able to emulate retro games on all the TVs! With this change I can now do 3D emulation.
