December - it’s been very quiet as I get up to speed in a new job and fight off nursery’s biological warfare. I’ve managed to get my first #StirRiverPatrol Captains guard finished. Not a lot, but a tiny thing like this keeps me happy and sane! Now to put aside paints and minis for the festive break. 😂
Been a great year in terms of hobby, I’ve come on leaps and bounds. Through this yoke - encountered lovely folk. Nice to pause and reflect.

Also got officially made redundant, found a new job, and the daughter started nursery - or as I call this last one - the end times began 😂 Finally, I base coated part of an Empire Greatsword for my #StirRiverPatrol.

That’s not all - @Berit’s amazing initiative #FediPaint went out on its inaugural voyage - and I had an absolute blast pushing myself painting a chef for my #StirRiverPatrol another #Mordheim Classic.

June 1/2 - half way(ish) point! First project of this month was getting an #IntoTheDark #KillTeam terrain set and a full set of Minis together for an in person game with @Octavius8. Great exercise in speed painting - that I actually really enjoyed! I got utterly battered in this game - cultists be squishy.

April 1/2 - so… in April, someone arriving but arriving very late meant there was lots of time for #Painting. They’ve made up for a late arrival by being a great wee buddy since. I started trailing out Zenithal for the first time on #StirRiverPatrol/#Mordheim minis, completed my first regiment of Montrose Irish for #PikeAndShotte and painted Montrose’s horse!

March - #PikeAndShotte continued to build up steam for me. Adding lots of units, and starting to paint the Montrose Irish, including being an idiot and wanting to paint tartan blankets on them.

February - worked on my upgrading my set up for playing long distance games with @seanayres5 & @Octavius8 for #KillTeam - this led to some much cherished gaming. Finally caved on #PikeAndShotte buying up Montrose Irish where I could, and doing some kitbashing to see if I could create an Ulster Irish Army for the 9 years war - was really happy with the outcome by mixing a sprue of Atlantic Dark Age Irish & Conquistadors.
