Conquer 2020 Virtual Challenge Complete
Yesterday I ran my 1000th kilometer for 2020 and met my Conquer 2020 Virtual Challenge goal. When I started the challenge in January I felt confident I would be able to keep on track and I'm happy I was able to even with the complications that the pandemic and parenthood threw my way.

The English Channel Complete
Yesterday I wrapped up running the English Channel Virtual Challenge, which I started just over a week ago. I've enjoyed finishing up the last of the short challenges offered by The Conqueror and it has been good motivation to keep up the habit of running at every chance I get.

This morning I finished the last distance to complete the 90 miles Hadrian's Wall virtual challenge I started a month ago.

Today I started my next virtual mission from The Conqueror Virtual Challenges, a shorter 145 km distance. The virtual route follows the historical length of Hadrian's Wall from Wallsend to Bowness on Solway in England.

Alps to Ocean Complete
Today I finished up my Alps to Ocean virtual challenge, which I started in March. In the midst of restrictions that might have sapped my motivation to get out running, having this virtual challenge was absolutely an driver to keep me moving and going out each night to run.

Great Ocean Road Complete
A few days ago I finished the Great Ocean Road challenge I started on Christmas Eve. It was good motivation to have a long term distance goal to encourage me to get out for runs throughout the Winter.

Great Ocean Road
Starting today I'm running the Great Ocean Road Virtual Challenge to run a total of about 240 km. I'm aiming to do that in about 12 weeks, so if I get out for 4 runs each week during the winter and do a distance of 5 km each time I'll be on target.
