- Love is everything. (My Truth)
I’m starting something new. A daily posting of what I consider to be “my truths”. Things that guide me. Things that help make up who I am as an individual.
To kick things off, my first “truth”, probably because to me it’s the most important, is love.
Love is everything. Without love, life isn’t really worth living for.
This doesn’t necessarily mean being in love, or loving someone else. It doesn’t necessarily mean being loved by someone either. Plenty of those around us are not in a relationship, or have experienced loss and have no loved one’s left.
But no one needs society’s acceptance or anyone’s permission to love one’s self and loving one’s self is the most fundamental form of love in the universe.
Love could also be simply the love we have for a pet or a song or a food or a place, too.
So, my first truth on this journey is Love.
