And for all intents and purposes, by her account (in the court document - see below), she is a rape survivor, even if trump's acts were officially labeled "sexual assault" in the civil court case.

What gets me about this is that it's not only a case of trump seeking revenge via his DOJ, but also that it seems he wants to milk Carroll out of $ (like he does in so many other cases) because his personal DOJ lawyers will no doubt seek settlement.

I'm currently reading & watching documentaries about the Nixon years and Watergate. It's hard to believe that there could be anything more politically corrupt than this, but Trump way out does Nixon... and his corruption goes way beyond politics.

The fact that he settled a non-case also makes it seem that the settlement terms (slush fund & freedom from IRS audit & prosecution) were pre-planned and the whole thing was a ruse.
