Knappe 15 Minuten entfernt liegt ein Streifen Natur pur neben einer doch recht stark befahren Straße. Trotzdem befindet sich dort ein Ruhepunkt für mich. Es gibt dieses kleine Stück mystischen Birkenwald am Ufer eines alten Flussarms. Zur Zeit brühten hier bis zu 30 Reiherpaare. Einen Eisvogel habe ich hier auch schon gesehen, aber nie mit meiner Kamera erwischt. Ein Grund mehr hier mal eben durchzulaufen.
