The #TuneTuesday theme is #MyFavouriteXmasSong.
I don't think I have favourites. But here's one I like. I maybe like even more because it is elusive. I used to have the Toys soundtrack on tape; it isn't on Spotify.
Toys Soundtrack - The Closing Of The Year
When Leon Redbone and Dr John sing "Frosty The Snowman" I don’t worry about Frosty melting, I worry about the amount of 2nd hand smoke coming off the track.

This week's #TuneTuesday theme is #MyFavouriteXmasSong. I first thought of Darlene Love's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)", but since it has received a lot of exposure over the years, I decided to go for a lesser-known - but equally great - recording:
The Meditation Singers: The Spirit of Christmas (1968)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xW2uL2DOpMA
This is one of the three songs the Meditation Singers recorded for the 1968 Checker Records album "A Christmas Dedication". Even with a couple of somewhat disappointing Soul Stirrers tracks on it, it is definitely one of the better Christmas albums in my household.
"The Spirit of Christmas" was written by Sonny Thompson and Maurice Dollison, and produced by Ralph Bass, all music business veterans and Chess/Checker Records regulars at the time. The song was also issued as a single, with "Blue Christmas" - another excellent Sonny Thompson composition - on the flip side. This has been easily the most-played Christmas 45 in my collection for the last decade or so.

I can't decide which version I like better, but No Doubt has a video for their cover so I'm listing that first.

Lviv National Opera Choir - Shedryk
Composed by Mykola Leontovych in 1916. Later with replaced lyrics it became known an "Carol of the Bells".

This week's Tune Tuesday theme is your favorite Christmas song.
I really like O Come Emmanuel, as it's a chill minor key Christmas song, but for my favorite I'm gonna have to go with Rend Collective's version of Ding Dong Merrily On High (The Celebration's Starting) just because it's so high energy and just tons of fun.

I don't have a single favorite Christmas song, so here's one about a no-frills celebration for "the rest of us"

Relaxed, inviting, and seasonally on point.
It's #TuneTuesday #MyFavouriteXmasSong and the season's upon us, but that song was already posted, so here's my second favourite one,
Reel Big Fish - Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer

FYI to all my Tune Tuesday fans - we've got a timeline shift AGAIN this week with folks using both the British and American English spelling of the word "Favorite" in the hashtag.
Look for both

Last year #BobWayne released a string of Christmas hits. This was my favorite:

This week's #TuneTuesday is #MyFavouriteXmasSong
Honestly, I hate Christmas music. I have to take a Xanax before entering a mall during Christmas season. However, I do like this “Christmas” song from Everclear.
This week's Tune Tuesday theme is My Favorite Xmas Song.
My favorite is Hark the Herald Angels Sing.
Don't have a great example recording, but it's my favorite hymn and I love hearing it this time of year.

So, I mentioned before my favourite Christmas song is Last Christmas. Now, I still stand by my choice from before, because I like that version of that song more, but here is a cover of Last Christmas by a melodeath band from Poland known as Aether, appropriately titled Blast Christmas!

Apparently it's only found on YouTube, but it used to be in Bandcamp.

Our friends #MoonshineTorpedoes recently released a chistmas song:
Hey mein kleiner Weihnachtsmann

It's Tune Tuesday and the theme is My Favourite XMas Song.
I'm not much for Christmas Music, so I'll go with a more recent song I enjoyed.

Normally for Christmas #MyFavouriteXmasSong would be Donny Hathaway - This Christmas but I'm going to pick something that is a bit more bangin' for #TuneTuesday
Run-Dmc - Christmas in Hollis

#TuneTuesday is getting out the tinsel for #MyFavouriteXmasSong, and while Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Darlene Love is a close second, it really has to be River by Joni Mitchell.
#TuneTuesday wants #MyFavouriteXmasSong
An easy choice for me!

As much as I love the song Last Christmas, I chose Blind Guardian!
