it just happened. i didn’t plan it. i hadn’t even really thought about it before…
two sundays ago. i went to visit #myfather and i didn’t have anything to eat until that midafternoon when i was offered a pot of soup there! by the time evening came i wasn’t #hungry so that #lunch became my only #meal that day.
naturally somehow i did the same the next day: having #omad #onemealaday. surprisingly there hasn’t been any major sensation of #hunger that bothers me. #sofarsogood.
A tale of the day in cigars. First one La Gloria Cubana Medio Tiempo. Sweet cap but that was all. It was almost two years old and smoked like a dream. Second one currently in progress is La Dueña by My Father. Full-bodied and thick rich flavors. I’m not as nuanced as others at picking out flavors yet, but I enjoy a good aged cigar. I share caregiving duties for Dad, with my Mom. We will be getting some financial relief with respite community support workers fees, starting in January. That's going to help me not stress out over household finances as much. I currently pay $400-$500/month for respite help to come help 2 days a week for 2-3 hrs each shift.
I manage all medical & financial matters for my parents. Dad's brain injured & Mom's illiterate.
