Beides für sich schnelle, nette Spiele - beide gingen 20 Minuten. Aber keines, das uns so richtig packt. Ob das für eine Daseinsberechtigung im Spieleregal reicht, ist unklar.

Today we have played #FitToPrint and I’m confident it’ll be a new regular family game. Youngest child got #Mycelia but we’ve not played it. We’ve just played a three hand parallel run of #UtopiaEngine which is a free #PrintAndPlay #RollAndWrite which eldest child likes (they won their game) but which didn’t engage me, even though I was doing fairly well up until I tried linking artefacts at the end.

Mal ne Frage an die #TCG #disneylorcana Runde hier im #brettspiele Club:
Kind 2 (8) spielt gerne und zu meinem Leidwesen gut. Deckbuilder spielt sie #mycelia und #dominion. Aber TCG oder LCG sind bei uns bisher nicht im Regal. Jetzt ist mir im Spieleladen „Der Einstieg“ von #lorcana in die Hände gefallen. Das sieht ja wie ein TCG-Brettspiel-Hybrid aus. Findet ihr das einen guten Einstieg (ich weiß, der Name lässt es vermuten) in diese Welt oder wie würdet ihr starten? Weihnachten naht ja.

Some material experiments with mycelium substrate growing in sawdust and flour, to make fungi sculptures from moulds.

I am using a proprietary mix from the Dutch company Kineco https://kineco.bio/, although I know I can potentially make this myself with some spores and sawdust.

Will report back in about 7 days with whatever comes of these.
