  1. Raupe always avoided getting into the couch cushion gap (Which I keep open because Fussel loves lying in it; it's exactly one small cat broad and one small cat deep; yes, yes, "it's my hole" etc.)

Yesterday Raupe fell in while she was worming around being cuddled, was flabbergasted for three seconds and since then she *also* loves to clutch herself into that nook. :') She clearly overcame her bias by accident.

  2. I do prefer they put lettuce into my shoes, not puke. But still. WTF.

(This isn't still from the lettuce in the pictures above. Fussel got fresh lettuce when we got fresh lettuce. Then someone apparently thought "Lettuce put this into the shoe".)

  3. Lettuce vermin.
(I actually GAVE Fussel that lettuce stump. She's been trying to steal that lettuce consistently.)

  4. I might have never known because lettuce leaves are jagged, so it was serendipitous, really, that I was just sitting at the kitchen table quietly rolling up bandages when I heard the munch munch munch behind me and found Fussel on the kitchen counter eating from our head of iceberg lettuce like the world's biggest (and fuzziest) slug.

(No it wasn't Raupe, it's always Fussel eating everything. I named them wrong.)

  5. There was a BAMM and when I went to check, all three cats filed from the living room into the corridor, one after the other, like "Dumm dee dumm nothing happened at all!" only that Fussel's tail was so puffed it was as big as the rest of her.

I didn't find anything out of place. Which probably means they got rid of the evidence.

  6. Raupe LOVES to rock-climb the wardrobe like a tinier Tom Cruise and then jump on my bed.

She did this about 5x in the evening (I heard the weird THUMPs from the other room) and left me worried she'd do it again at night (with me in bed).

An Oomf said she was playing Assassins' Creed and that's SO funny. My bed is Raupe's tiny hay stack! And I'm picturing her pulling up a little hood before she jumps :3

I'd still prefer her not to break my legs one day.

  7. Practicality gets me to make dressing choices that aren't necessarily expressions of being non-binary.

Like wearing (my mom's discarded) dresses at home (over trousers, with a sweater on top), because they present a further layer between bread making claws and my thighs, and they make a great hammock.

It's all for the cats, always.
