#US bill to protect reproductive #health data is dead. Here's why you should care anyway
#MyBodyMyData sounds reasonable enough, right?
To be clear, the proposed My Body, My Data Act doesn't a chance of making it to a floor vote in a Republican-controlled House. It probably won't even pass out of committee. But it's still a debate worth having, according to lawmakers and digital #privacy advocates who support a national #reproductivehealth #dataprivacy standard.

WA residents: Sign in PRO for the #MyBodyMyData (HB 1155)

#MyBodyMyData prohibits companies from selling Washingtonians' health data, requires #optin consent for websites and apps collecting or share the data, and prohibts #geofencing -- urgent protections for a post-Roe world where #abortion is criminalized.
