It's been a while since I posted about #myBeautifulMan , but I was thinking about how I never made the #fanVideo I wanted to about it.

The story is complex with flawed characters who act out, and it turns viewers away by looking like an abusive relationship at first.

But it is great at portraying a very complex romantic relationship in only a few episodes, and the second half is surprising. A favorite. #bl #romance

I fell hard for the Japanese #bl series My Beautiful Man (#UtsukushiiKare )

This led to me following one of the leads, #YuseiYagi who is in the #jpop group #thefantastics

I follow him as well as reveling in the recent release of the #myBeautifulMan movie as well as the second season #mybeautifulman2

Started this idea on tumblr but I think I'm going to do it here, too.

I think. #mybeautifulman is like a wooden puzzle where you try to put the pieces together and fail over and over before they finally lock in place.

a lot of people give up before they get to that point, and the pieces still look good alone, but so much work went into getting this far that you really need the satisfaction of watching them fall into place.
That's what omniscient #POV is all about.

I adore these cute little extra scenes from #mybeautifulman , but I really enjoy what it says about how the show was written.

This and the other scene I posted talked about "Captain Duck" a toy that featured prominently in the first season. They chose to have Kiyoi give the duck to Hira as a gift in the finale, so they had to remove all other instances of it.
This suggests that they did not know how they were going to end the show, and were having the actors test it.

I really want to try out these fan-made subtitles for #WordOfHonor, but without video files to apply them to, it's an exercise in patience until my DVD set arrives.

They were a group of solid dancers who were not getting ahead, so they hired two young singers (including YY) for the visuals who don't really dance.

The band is Japanese, and can do cute well.
Please note the little kids dressed in white like puffy bunnies in a soft spring. And the fact that they named their song "Choo Choo".

My beautiful man - Japanese and Three Body Problem - Chinese, make me want to make my own fan translations, because when I read what the translations say, I feel they are missing things.

In #mybeautifulman it is because one of the main characters uses derogatory words sometimes in an affectionate way, and some of the translations are jarring.

In #threeBody, it is because there are some words that have greater connotation, like whenever they say the word "comrade", and I want to understand.

I also noticed the cloud is shaped like a ducky.

In My Beautiful Man, the couple seems mismatched. A beautiful popular guy, and a stalkery loner0 boy. But appearances can deceiving.

The handsome man, Kiyoi, likes the stalkery guy, Hira. He isn't turned off by his stutter or appearance. He is turned off by his low self image, and his tendency to separate himself by putting Kiyoi on a pedestal.
Hira thinks Kiyoi's beauty is literally divine, and that he is only worthy to serve him. He also misinterprets his actions. #myBeautifulMan

I left Viki because I no longer have a subscription and I didn't want to be tempted by shows I couldn't watch.

But I found out that there is a My Beautiful Man 2! OMG! I enjoy it even if I can only watch the first episode.
