6:15AM: 55F, and "breezy."
As near as I can tell, we have yet to see the really high gusts forecasted, ie. up to 60. Looks like we had gusts in the mid to high 40's, which isn't too bad.
We're under the high wind warning until 10AM. We'll see if the heavy rain forecast for today comes true.

The wind is slowly coming up. Currently 20mph E sustained, highest gust 33mph.
The good part is that it looks like it'll hit fast, blow hard, then exit fairly quickly.
Hard to believe heavy rain & wind are just a few hours away. It's been a fairly peaceful day.
