#ToAllAGoodNight (2023), k/a #APicturePerfectChristmas on UK streaming-service #My5, rates 7.5 on #imdb - really high for a #ChristmasFilm. So much to enjoy in this #ChristmasMovie: good acting from the whole ensemble; gorgeous scenery; and, fun running gags. I shall rewatch every season.

This is a must-see #ChristmasFilm. No, it is not great Art, but in the #ChristmasMovie genre this scores 7/10, which is high. The four main characters are snowed in at a diner on #ChristmasEve. With a lot of time on their hands, they open up and discover more about each other. Good supporting-cast too. #My5 lists as #ATasteOfChristmas, but it is on #imdb as #HeavenDownHere. I hope you enjoy this drama.

Looking at the reviews, #MysticChristmas (2023) k/a "Christmas Magic" on UK's streaming channel #My5, this #ChristmasFilm is like Marmite (one will either love or loathe). I consider the badinage between various characters really funny and there are some great lines. No dog in this #ChristmasMovie, but, fellow #Caniformians, seals are the reason for at least a thrill or a few joyous tears!

Wow, a #Hallmark #ChristmasMovie that is not a rom-com, more a family drama. Admittedly I laughed aloud on several occasions. Superb writing, editing, acting and all tied together by Daisy (hope that is not a spoiler!) I shall watch this film any season it is shown. If in the UK, it is currently available to stream on #My5. #ChristmasFilms

Are there any #Blind users out there who have an #AppleTV and use the #My5 app from the UK? I’m trying to find a way to get it to always play the audio described version of programs. I have audio descriptions turned on in my main Apple TV settings, But each time a new episode of a show comes on I have to go in and manually select audio descriptions from the audio menu of the show. It’s annoying!

BBC iPlayer, ITVx, Channel4, and the other apps on my LG smart TV work like a dream. So why is the My5 app so bad? Sometimes it works but more often stops with different error codes - very few of them actually listed on their guide to error codes. None of the troubleshooting tips work and just seem to be wild goose chases designed to waste your time until you get fed up and quit. Is there is anyone here who has had a similar experience? especially if you have resolved it, please comment

We are in the final month of the 2023/24 #ChristmasMovie season and I have just finished viewing my first #ChristmasFilm in February. It is one I previously watched during the 2022/3 season and was as enjoyable as I recalled. I defo recommend “#DesigningChristmas” (2022). Still available in UK on #My5 for a couple more days.

I am still ploughing through #My5 ‘s streaming #ChristmasFilm s. By accident I came across a link to “ #MrsMiracle ” (2009). If you havenæ previously seen this #ChristmasMovie, you are in for a treat. The acting from the two romantic leads, namely #ErinKarpluk (also good in “The Christmas Lodge” (2011)) & #JamesVanDerBeek is really good. Whilst this is Angst-light there is still plenty of light drama and cutesiness too from the wee twins. Defo recommended!

Well the UK #ChristmasMovie channel may be closed until the 2023/4 season, but one can still catch a #ChristmasFilm on #My5 until some time in February. Today, in about two dozen parts, I watched “Christmas Bells Are Ringing” (2018). Slow visuals, only a handful of characters, defo plot-lite & plenty of feels - great for someone who cannæ concentrate nor view for very long! I should opt to watch again. 😉

I remember looking at my subscription TV package (#skytv) some years ago thinking that I was paying far too much money for what I was getting. I felt like I was paying for loads of stuff that I just didn’t need or want.

I moved house so started fresh and got rid of all paid TV and just went with freeview TV (freeSAT) and #BitTorrent, lots of BitTorrent.
