Warning: I didn't used GNOME desktop for years.

I think the big difference relies on: JavaScript and D-Bus usage in the desktop (much more heavily on Gnome than KDE).

And this "heaviness", is what makes me move to mint then KDE (and with libAdWaita, going back is not an idea).

Per il bene di #Report e di quel briciolo di giornalismo d'inchiesta che resta in questo Paese, #Ranucci dovrebbe farsi da parte.
La sua presenza nel programma fungerebbe da "disinnesco" per qualsiasi inchiesta.

Probabilmente non sarebbe la conclusione più giusta, anche perché sono convinto che Ranucci sia la vittima di un piano infame, ma certe "ingenuità" ( essere amico di un personaggio come #Lavitola) si pagano purtroppo.

I think there will be continued market corrections to bring the big AI companies down to earth (like how SpaceX came down, but perhaps not as dramatic). AI chip-making companies like NVIDIA with mega valuations will stick around doing well overall for a while.

The dot-com investments were for particular startups whereas current AI investments are intertwined with society (for ex: data center & infrastructure investments required to make AI run). The deep-seated investment nature will stretch out the bubble & help it peter out rather than pop. I think in the end, there will be a few dominate companies remaining that deliver AI services to consumers, but even they will struggle for profit. B2B AI service delivery will be more profitable.
