CW: Stealing vs. Foraging / Accumilating (Natural insticts)
The title of the post shows the similarities of stealing and foraging. Both have in their actions what we basically all do: 'bring, take, get, collect, pile up'... something under different #circumstances and #environments for ourselves or others, near and far.
The morality is different for stealing but much of it the the same in life (as uncomfortable as that sounds!) when it's for yourself or family (or government using everyone's money to wage #wars / 🏦 paying for wars elsewhere / military industrial complex / #USPol etc).
This post outlines a tone showing it's the environment mainly that determines if actions are bad or good (which people can deliberately setup as the overall good or bad shell). So what defines if you are stealing for me?
➡️ Stealing if existing system is about scarcity / not loving people (then lead people to steal in some form (legally formed stealing company or state or other stealing from people).
Often both people and #planet #robbed / resources are "moved" elsewhere!)
or
➡️ foraging (if existing system is about growing people AND PLANET not cut-throat profit-priority TAKING AWAY EVERYTHING forcing people #conform / steal with $tates).
To forage is where a previous #generation or two have made it a priority to preserve and ADD things for people in the future to forage (trees, bushes, water pools, lead a simple life of fetching things rather than convert it to money-using objects etc).
A BETTER 'EFFICIENCY' WORKING WITH PEOPLE EVEN "STEALERS"??
I think you can #mutually use each other better to do more actions (I think that's what governments take advantage of in bad people) but importantly under a better environment....
:doge: Think of dogs and raising them in a fight club for dog fights or having them fed and watered while giving them options of things to fetch or people to go running with :dogcited: (people have dogs for these simple reasons sometimes).
People as a better " #EcoDiversity " (or some such term) comes into it for those that can do more and having #Diverse abilities to do bit of everything. A dog that can do more, some that just like running...
The problem is about being fed and housed enough, as the basic that hold people together, so people need not feel they have to steal or forage too hard (this is a hard #fact of #life and hard to bypass as some people will still do too much of even the nicest work or stab people in the back... but imagine most are nice dogs or through generational improvement could be turned from fighting dogs to much more pleasant runners. (behaviour over time / #epigenetics)
The #environment is the key mostly, like epigenetics and evolution through #habits... IF the rich and elite could ease up A BIT the horrendous profits they take from people and spend on them instead, so we could all get along a bit more and 'steal' / forage more properly together for each other. And even enjoy the time in city, field or wherever.
A bit like the lords and estates or feudal times but as benevolent dictator. It's a big of a dream I know but we've had flavours of them all that we could just stick with. It shows we able to do it, under a whip or under an incentive or bounty.
Not easy or realistic for your tastes, with profits perhaps coming from generation of screwing people, but I see #nature as saving us because it gives us what to do, what to get, grow, water, dig etc. Now more than ever.
Without being fed or housing (and without uncomplicated government growing things) then we revert to stealing of some kind what little is left or from other countries (wonder why #war continues?)...
Under nature we could find what to do... moving / stealing hay or whatever #environment we're in. If people are in a cut-throat banking system then stealing on the street is a direct reflection of those barriers (#banks choose who and how to give money and it's VERY political - good projects don't stand a chance to get funding / startup finance).
My thoughts are that if you enable the bad people you can still actually get the good out of them (both willingly and as knowing each others tendencies towards #productivity if better environments can be found).ℹ️ For example - People who steal are just good at fetching things and accumulating (the basis of almost all work, legit or not)
Yes it is wrong is some sense but the actions can be seen simply as "bring and get"...
If it's all about pubs on Friday as an environment (and #profit for #government get the tax boost on the weekends) then it's only going to lead to a mess and poor #culture.
So if you can feed people enough (so they don't feel their life is in danger or depressed that they need money so much) then to 'forage' instead of steal can achieved together more harmoniously somewhere.
We all need a bit of thrill, adventure, physical exercise working with people occasionally, feel part of a unit etc...
I admit this is today with the overall crimes of the past (Governments are robbers themselves) then it's hard not to call anybody bad who works for them (we are all paying them as money 'disappears' or sorry 'we don't have enough and have to steal from this other pot, again'.
You always have to watch out for back-stabber but mostly if fed and housed people will do small and big work... Its true fed and housed is not priority of most #Government (they rather change with companies and reap/rape the profit) but this is another 'overall problem' or Meta problem that people have to understand.
Yes there are people that steal for kicks and just to hoard stuff.
No there are people that steal because there is nothing else to do, or literally is similar in morality as working in a call centre for an insurance company or bank.

CW: Users are the biggest weakness of a network / Improving user trust is the #1 solution to large systems of people who fail to share their futures AND are not building trust at all... to really do more than Modern Capitalism
Lately I've had a few good posts about why #systems are failing and missing out the humans themselves. A few post titles are below and short points first.
TLDR:
➡️ User-to-User interaction and progress needed on any network else people stay weak
➡️ personal contact / match-making of some kind needed by individuals and dedicated ppl
➡️ encouraging closer relativity / mutuality and from that projects naturally...
➡️ mutual growing people is essential for wider society, skills and mindset
➡️ not just growing machines!
(that is the way to Matrix!)Titles and links below:
1 ➡️ #Social systems / #p2p fails when the #users themselves are not regularly doing the #trust work #peertopeer and constructively themselves not building that - just consuming media or just on the #Trump hashtag while leaders steal our #future.
Having "system" is not enough We need people or events to get together others together much like online seminars, circles or conferences help 'push' people together or at least see mutuality more clearly.
📋 Post: https://qoto.org/@freeschool/113823713534235778
2 ➡️ Real work is done ON the users and admin themselves (people change).
It's also NOT about expanding #google on everything or using #BigTech to expand without much mindset change - we need more non-#AWS stuff knowing later that US space is a big #problem / #compromised.
The people-to-people work is doing better stuff than just 'machines' as the main work, coding re-coding the same shit while people stay behind.
Communication daily rather than #massstorage #McDonalds... :amazon: :aws: :google:

3 ➡️ Up to us not waiting for leaders or others forever...
Who's ready to build and build with trust? We need to work with those that can actually start and increase, and respond to reason better. Not waiting for history to repeat itself.📋 Post: https://qoto.org/@freeschool/113822893619105510
These post are so deliciously close to the Holy Grail of togetherness or solving things... saying what needs doing and growing people is the way forward.
Others growing others mean:
#informal apprenticeship /
#better #examples of each other etc.But also practically giving ourselves more hints what to do each day or with each other (2 main branches) rather than default "job" and statesmen and middle-people in between who ultimately ruin / misuse it all.
My experience is that even fans or mutual appreciators don't seem to be able to get past a certain level and currently paranoia or "I'm busy" excuses happens (until people see how they can use others) but overall it's about how we all work for each other by building each other up and eventually doing more, especially as all the while communication improves (#1 solution to many things I think).
It's about motivation and enjoyment to from that and then suddenly people are not as busy because they make it part of their life. :thumbsup_hmn_h2:
As usual I write more which I believe Freemo helps shorten for people.
I see the potential from other admins (who generally are more clever / multi-talented / able to multi-task) and users (who can
rrbe better or are clever in-the-waiting) to not miss the obvious point of social improvement but being / living in more of a two-way action and more 'manually' and deliberately doing it each day - it's not any systemBeyond messaging, Automatic things systems cannot do what human need after ability to contact and see each other's profile and work.
So even if it's looking a 1 profile a week more closely and trying to work with them / help or having a broader spectrum of open-access with other... Then slowly but surely real work (people change) happens.
From #KeyboardWarriors to #Techies to #Carers all people are already doing something we might want to be part of or integrate / bridge together - and as a mix of people we're superior to just floating individual having mostly non-dedicated parts of life and one-way / one-message interaction as a way to get away from outside life that I think all this post helps get better inside and out.
"Improving user-to-user interaction" is the main work.
We can do as a main part of 'working' socially which traditionally isn't what today's #Capitalist "jobs" do..
(because "jobs" are more narrow fields / definitions / contracts of work towards profit mainly and at the cost of everything else almost along the way - including emptying the human they use like a battery at the end).
Deliberately-socially messaging has benefits which I think people themselves/admins are not doing because others are not doing it (and once people do it I believe they will or can be tested!). I believe people love to see progress in themselves and others and doing it gives others the power / potential to help fix things instead of stay victim (which is what you see a lot of posts about, powerless).
Everything in their life can be fixed but has to come from this slowly but surely approach while improving friendship or respect (even from afar, lower level to high and vice-versa).
The people work is social change and like human resources we have it largely unused online as I see it. So while it's not for everyone here
THERE IS PLENTY OF PEOPLEand from those 'peer-to-peer- type post titles mentioned at the start I'd like to ask #Freemo about this more as I see him as a potential Captain of the football team because basically he's solid enough already which we all need as leader or moderator and so often on the mark.
He has a sense of morality when even if you wouldn't agree you'd thank him for being far clearer, less emotionally capsizing, and more transparent than the other 'leaders' we see currently everywhere.
So #Freemo does seem to do this work often anyway even if it's a small way and I feel people leave better from conversation and do come back again too (supply and demand!...) so why not this as a part-time thing or helping me to do it with his advice?
Points welcome even if it seems too dreamy... it seems totally doable even if slow-burn...
Cheers #Freemo and here's to you in general! :wine:
And I know you have #CleverThis - this is not ignoring that, but a I think you also need a non-company version as "Ask Freemo" / "Free School" (#AskFreemo / #FreeSchool) as not everyone likes to play that #state games of first jumping into a company but can contribute or get there eventually from other safer or less embedded ways...
Better than us spending too much time on hashtags watching #musk #trump etc getting sucked into their attention and spreading their shit words instead of good ones...
Ok that's it - just sending for now, with your help will re-edit / shorten if you can guide a bit / re-say it / cut it down (even if not totally doing it now - just helps me find more meaning and people who obvious see other people as the main 'problem' to solve / improve #mutually from fault of bad people but also the good not working on making something for good in *this* people-to-people way...

CW: Improving users as my #1 solution to systems of people failing (increasing user-to-user interaction on networks / match-making /encouraging closer social relativity... growing people essentially)
Lately I've had a few good posts hinting to why #systems are failing / missing out humans or what human systems need and are not getting. Basically to encourage each other and even hand-hold more (would have made me test Linux a lot more earlier for example or correct myself in my wrong thoughts previously) so more respect and interaction happens for those that are able and for others to be encouraged and do something more than Trump hating for example.... a few titles are below I thought were closer to what is 100% in short:

New (as yet unpublished) potential evidence that #SARS-#CoV-2 was found in #raccoon #dogs (canids) in the #Huanan #Market in late-2019. Specifically, viral and raccoon dog #DNA in #swabs presumably taken at the time from a stall known to house those animals.
Caveats:
-lots of DNA mixing together in a market.
-can the #provenance of the data be #verified?
- #zoonotic/#lab/market #origin are not #mutually #exclusive.
