seriously three strong people in their 20s should be able to do most of the move necessary in one to two days. I'm basically begging at this point.

I've made a lot of progress in physical therapy the past two years but five minutes of standing in front of my desk trying to box it up? my heart rate's nearing 140 and my back is screaming at me.

if I go at the rate I am physically capable of, it will never get done.

I'd rather get help from strangers on here than from strangers on Craigslist or other service ads sites. historically bad luck at the latter. please share and tag anyone who might be able to help.

if not please help me with money so I can hire movers to come and do what we cannot. even moving just across a yard is expensive and I haven't yet done so because I want things to be ready but at some point it will be what it is.

this is going to pay most of my bills for the July cycle but I need to start pushing really hard to get #MutualAid for August! and expenses for moving which we didn't know was going to happen and we need to buy things like lights and maybe a kitchen island. as an aside I have no clue how it is now halfway through 2025.

my spouse @inoru_no_hoshi and I are both disabled Jewish and Jewish-ish queers trying to survive in suburban Los Angeles, with our cat Zoey, and we need help with basically everything while I'm in school and they're doing job readiness (and not ready yet).

we're in the beginning of moving that's what we really needed but that's a hasty process with a lot of unforeseen expenses that we already don't have money for, so anything and everything helps us! this move is the first step towards getting at least partially out of an abusive situation.

currently we're at 235/1000 that we need, this gets us solvent for this month and August and means we can buy needed items for moving like plastic bins to put things into.
