If you think I only took one photo of the garden inside the library, then you have another toot coming.
-
If you think I only took one photo of the midsummer sun dawning above us in an underground skyspace, then then you have another toot coming.

I wrote to Too Good To Go. You may want to #MuteMeNow
’I’ve been locked out of the app. Where can customers in Denmark who aren't customers of Google or Apple access your services?’
Seconds later, the AI machine run by the company whose only product is about environmental responsibility wrote back:
’You and everyone can use the Too Good To Go app in Denmark, regardless if you're a customer of other companies. Our services are open to anyone who wants to save food and cut down on food waste.”

I have things to do today that I don’t want to do so I will be procrastitooting. No time like the present to start. Here's a picture of Paddington. The smile on my face when I turned a corner and bumped into him! I thanked him for all the good books and all the marmalade sandwiches, because as a child, I refused to eat any other lunch and I always ate it while reading one of my Paddingtons even though we weren't supposed to read at the table.

If you think I only took one photo of the pancake ice, then you have another toot coming.

I seem to have snapped an irresponsible number of Christmassy photos in the past few days. Especially for someone who's 'not that into Christmas'. I should probably stop using #SilentSunday and start using #MuteMeNow

Like someone who takes a bite of something, grimaces and hands you the rest saying: 'Eww, this is awful! Here – taste it!”, here’s a poor photo I don’t like but am giving this one brief sad fruit-fly moment of life before I delete it from my phone.

I have so much procrastinating to do today that I don’t know how I’ll find time for it all. I’d better get started. Here’s a photo of a door knocker.
-
I should've tagged this #MuteMeNow. I'll stop. Right after this toot. I just need to appreciate the brickwork first.

So far, I’ve posted 5 of the city’s 17 murals that promote the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. Here comes the sixth.
I was about to apologetically add #MuteMeNow here, but if you’ve met me in the Fediverse for more than 17 seconds then you knew this thread wasn’t finished, didn’t you, and you’ve already muted it, haven’t you.
‘Faucet of life’ by Argentinian artist Ronmuralist. On Europaplads.
#6 Clean Water and Sanitation. Rent vand og sanitet.

Strangers sitting quietly together in a town square reading in peace, everyone lost in their own different world in their book, is a nice and surprisingly communal experience.
I was in Nigeria, lost in The Road To The Country. So I jumped in my seat at the end when someone in Aarhus suddenly spoke from the unseen seat behind. "A strange experience, watching someone read my book." The author was behind me all the time. So amazing to me that I'll be retooting this story every day now. #MuteMeNow

This is the kind of advertising I don’t mind seeing in public spaces. Author photos on bus stops. Citywide banners promoting a major literary festival with top Nordic and international authors. Main organiser: the library. 157 free and affordable events in schools, public squares, community venues and library branches.
Aarhus International Literature Festival. LiteratureXchange. Why yes, I have tickets. Why yes, you should probably #MuteMeNow.

I wasn't joking.

Someone once shared this real motivational poster with me. It motivated me to create my own motivational posters filled with the wisdom of Karl Ove.
Years later, I just found the folder in which I made the posters. If you think I am not going to share them with you, then you have another toot coming.

If you think I was joking about work avoidance, you have another toot coming. Here's another random photo of the same sign.
-
Warning! I have a tedious task to do today. So here’s a random photo.
-
@ReturnOfSchnuckster I issue #MuteMeNow warnings when I am #procrastitooting to avoid clearing out the basement or sorting out a decades-old archive of files. So I think you just confirmed my prejudices about how fascinating and action-packed cricket is. Enjoy the match! (Game? Fight? Tournament? Battle?)

Found a few horses lurking in my phone.

Even I’m surprised by the randomness of the images I find when I start clearing out the photos in my phone.
-
When I said work avoidance, I meant work avoidance.
-
When I said random, I meant random.
-
I have a dull household project to avoid doing today, so here’s a random photo.

If you think I only took one photo as I wandered around Sustainability Island, you have another 117 toots coming.
-
I wasn’t joking. I have no sense of humour.
-
If you think I didn’t take 359 photos at today’s ceremony to name the harbour’s new tour boat, you have another 358 toots coming.
-
I went on a #roadtrip and if you don't like photos you better #muteMeNow :annoyingdog:
-
If you think I don't have a lot of photos of bare trees just lying around doing nothing, you have another think coming.
-
Thank you to @isac for making me realise there's a hashtag for bare trees. Of course there is. This is Mastodon. This is one of the reasons I love living in the fediverse.

Impulse-bought a while ago. Impulse-plucked off my TBR pile on the way out the door today. Have only read a few pages on the move, but that was enough to suggest I am going to be gushing about this book later.
