Roll result 10. System Overload! The target CPU suffers a cataclysmic override and bursts into flame amid a shower of sparks. The CPU takes 1d100 data damage and whatever installation, vehicle, body or container it occupies loses the next 1d6 turns and takes 2d20 endurance damage. If the harm from either of these two damage rolls is enough to finish off either the CPU or the body, then the target is fried and ‘dead’ and cannot be occupied by another digital being.

Androids, especially advanced or physically active varieties, have a much higher likelihood of being ambidextrous than human or mutant human characters do. Roll 1d10 on the following table at character generation, however, medical, technician, scientific and military android categories all gain +2 on the following 1d10 roll.

The CPU (Central Processing Unit) of an android is its hard-wired, computerized brain and occupies the skull cavity of the head. Running the #AlienRPG is on Ken's list of "Four RPGs I will run in 2023" (for the curious, the others were #MutantCrawlClassics, #Mothership, and #CyberpunkRED).

Ken ran the other three, but ALIEN is still unplayed. He has the three cinema boxed sets, but those scenarios are pretty hefty.

He's looking for something that's newbie friendly and that he could run in 2-3 hours (likely online).

Up in the Game Room, working on my #MutantCrawlClassics adventure. All the characters are done, so it's time to bang out the rest of the adventure.

It's a fair amount of content, but I think it'll make the game run more smoothly at the convention. And honestly, it helps me learn the rules.

Continuing to battle my way through my #MutantCrawlClassics game prep for Mepacon.

I'm focusing on character prep - because MCC uses funky dice and lots of charts, I'm assembling everything players need to run their Level 3 characters - background, ability descriptions, artifacts, relationships with other characters, and class/species specific rules.

On the plus side, #MutantCrawlClassics classics has a decent index. Look up "tech level" and it will actually tell you where "tech level" is defined in the book.

Amazing!

Time to get back to #MutantCrawlClassics and my #MEPACON one-shot. My goal is to get this thing written this weekend.

My reward? Playing the #Cyberpunk2077 #PhantomLiberty expansion.
