@TripTilt the aesthetics are just a byproduct. Those two large ones are original #mutableInstruments panels which I could never deface. The other one is from a very thin module maker - whose vision I also don not want to break with.

@paul the rings and elements code from #MutableInstruments does interesting overtone stuff. One can pick a polyphony of two and apply fm or modulate the shape of the model to get interesting tunings. That code has also been ported to supercollider.

Although I'm just a bit exhausted of #mutableInstruments code and need to go play durms, it really is inspiring that my old FOSS bones and stubborn belief things should be made accessible actually bears fruit. Rich Heslip, who inspired me to build drum machines recently started using the plaits 1.2 https://github.com/rheslip/2HPico-Eurorack-Module-Hardware with the intention of going ALL FM (sixop engine). Which of course was eased by Vadims help on that version of Plaits. He's been working on https://github.com/ledlaux/duna-pico2-drumsynth very cool.

I've got a #BitwigStudio preset that is inspired by #MutableInstruments #Blades. It seems a natural offshoot of my #ShermanikFilterbank to explore other #TwinPeakFilter types.

I hope to have some demos and a web page for this in the next few days.

But I still can't get clouds running on MMM anything like on scarp. Very odd. Ooof. I had been going a bit bonzoos. Earl, the one and only maintainer of the RP2040/2350 arduino sdk saved my but.
In short, to run #MutableInstruments #Rings on the 2350, you need overclock to 276 mHz. This was not possible till the recent 4.6 update. Rings and Plaits on MMM short video, first rings then a brief switch to plaits and back. It's pretty. Meta Mutable Module from sluisbrinke and poetaster's tonetoys.

@bodil I do have to admit, when I do ports, such as recent #Mutableinstruments src to Arduino, I left the original MIT in place. It was the reason that the past 5 years have seen innumerable copies of the hardware with relatively few contributions. Rankles a bit. My stuff is all gpl. V3.

This is a bit of a hack, but a profitable one. Just as with toepler+ I'm reusing an existing hardware design to see how far I can take braids on it: https://wgdmodular.de/module/peach/ ... supposed to have a XIAO RA4M1 attached to it. Pin compatible with an adafruit QTPY RP2040:) Had one of those lying around.
