最近做木工的劲头都是因为偶然刷到这个博客（link #1），两位同好在地下室做木工的记录，博客很简单，但记录了几百件成品，突然就被激励起来了。花了一个星期把这个博客的内容都刷完了，还从某篇中挖到一个超级资源：MoMA 发布的出版平台（免费，link #2），里面关于家具的就有 42 本！下了几本来看，图片、排版和布局都非常精美，赏心悦目！

This partial lynx skull from Pleasley Vale on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, UK, may be more of a sub-fossil than a fossil for #FossilFriday. It could be only a few thousand years old.

It is being sampled by scientists at the University of Nottingham who are working out exactly how old it is, and testing it for preserved DNA.

Three glass eyes with portable velvet carrying case and mirror, c.1870. These were likely meant to be carried by an ocularist – someone who specialized in making and fitting prosthetic eyes – to assist them in making the best possible match to the patient’s remaining eye.
