These are Asian greens that we grow & harvest as needed, year round. They are put under light covers in the colder Winter months. I keep their bases well mulched during Winter & they do just fine.

I absolutely love #Chinese #pickled #MustardGreens. Ever since being introduced to them as a toddler, it's been a fave cultural pickled food that I loved to eat.

Eating with steamed jasmine rice. Fresh strawberries from garden with locally made vanilla ice cream for dessert. Jasmine tea & half a glass of orange juice, for my drinks. Not pictured.

We're omnivores but have at least 1-2 meatless lunch & dinner days every week.

@Wired I can't believe the editors at Wired allowed @[email protected] to write that entire article about CRISPR edited Mustard Greens without EVER identifying the exact "consumer" who does not like them as they are. #MustardGreens are an essential element in the Black American dish called "Greens" along with Collards and Turnip greens.

And for dinner, an Insta Pot beef stew. Modifications: used red wine, add mustard greens, put in mushrooms (didn't have peas). Flavor is deep and rich. Highly recommend.
