#Movies . . .
Two more obscure movies that I've seen on #Tubi recently are biopics of two men who overcome their disabilities to achieve an ambition in each of their lives.
The 1st is #Unstoppable (2024). This is not the movie starring Denzel & Chris Pine about a runaway train. This is a movie about Anthony Robles, who becomes an NCAA wrestling champion with only 1 leg. The "star" is an unknown but Jennifer Lopez co-stars as Anthony's battered wife/mother. Also co-starring in the movie are Michael Pena & Don Cheadle (who coached him) & Bobby Cannavale , as the abusive father. It's an excellent supporting cast.
Next is the #MusicWithin (2007) about a man who suffers a traumatic childhood while in the custody of his schizophrenic mother, who suffers a deafening injury during his service in the Vietnam War & who befriends & cares for a man suffering from cerebral palsy, which leads him to become a advocate for the disabled.
Another 2 movies worth watching IMO.
