Hello people! It's "VINYL THURSDAY" again. One record from my collection once a week.
Today: Primal Scream – "Screamadelica" from 1991.
Some call this record a "classic" and I think it's true - groundbreaking mix of genres like Leftfield, Acid House, Indie, Dub, Psychedelic and Downtempo - all under one roof.

Here it is again: It's "VINYL THURSDAY". One record from my collection once a week.
Today ‘I Jonathan" featuring the fantastic Jonathan Richman from 1992 (vinyl release 2020).
Mostly known as main part of "Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers" he also is a brilliant solo artist and still is much under the music radar I think.

Look who's looking...
New in: "Boy" - nice 2022 record from Melbourne artist Harvey Sutherland.
10 top tunes with an electronic bias that go from Jazz to Funk with some "krautish" appeal. And you even can dance to some of them. I love it! 🎧😊

Chet Baker, Sings Again, 1986 on Timeless
Recorded in October 1985 in Monster Holland, this was released on the Timeless label. Baker is joined by Michel Graillier (piano), Ricardo Del Fra (bass), and John Engels (drums). That means it was recorded after Baker’s “re-emergence” at the Free Jazz Festival in Rio in September 1985.
The dedication is “Thanks to Peter Huijts, without him this recording had not been possible” (though Huijts is not one of the credited producers, which are Makoto Kimata & Wim Wigt).
My copy—via the Worcester Record Riot—is a 2022 reissue by Music on Vinyl, a numbered limited edition on pink 180g vinyl.

Following up on yesterday's #blues with #BuddyGuy, I went down to my friend's #RecordStore and found this #MusiconVinyl #vinyl re-release of Buddy's epic "Damn Right I've Got The Blues," which I've only ever owned on CD. This thing glistens. The title track will blow you away with its perfect balance of restraint and power.
How did I get so old, that this record could be from 31 years ago?. Where does life go?
