A #musicmixing question I've always had:
How was a really fast repeated panning of one instrument accomplished in ages past? Someone wasn’t actually winging a slider back and forth were they? Was this a newish technology to be able to do in 1981 when this* was released? Now days I'd think it would be pretty easy digitally in #logicpro ?

Mixer un morceau c'est tellement long quand on n'a pas l'expérience. Là ça fait plusieurs semaines que je suis sur le même titre et quasi chaque jour je change des trucs, reviens à l'étape de prod pour ajuster des sons ou des harmoniques, regarde un avis de pro et me dis "ah mais c'est une super idée!". C'est à la fois cool de modeler entièrement un morceau et démoralisant tant ça ne ressemble jamais à ce que j'ai en tête. #musicproduction #musicmixing

I worked all night and finally went to bed around 8am, and got only 3.5 hours of sleep before waking up and working more on my mix. But it has been turned in!
My tired brain couldn't handle any other chores today, but at least I made that deadline. I just need someone to acknowledge how hard I worked.
