With Bands of America Grand Nationals taking place this week, I’m looking back to the last time I attended Grand Nationals in 2018. That season, Carmel High School won with not just the band, but also a Valkyrie AND their orchestra appearing during the final moments of their show for one more glorious Wagnarian chord.
