To my surprise, I found multiple videos about it and the original service manual as PDF.

I replaced the two belts (although they were still working) and fixed the (typical) issue of not being able to unload a #cassette due too much old grease in the mechanics, blocking the eject function.

Unfortunately, it still requires some work (and material) since the Wind Idler Assy (idler tire) is completely degraded. It felt like hard plastic instead of rubber.

Thankfully, I found a replacement on ebay. Let's wait for the delivery.

Our 5-year-old's Kindergarten teacher has said she is looking for cassette players. She happened upon a significant volume of kids' material (books on tape, etc.) on cassette.

Is there any trick to picking out newly manufactured cassette players online? Looks like there are relatively cheap Walkman-style options ($20-25). I'm open to other suggestions (inexpensive, can be plugged in). I'm already suggesting a 3.5mm headphone splitter.
